Russia didn’t exactly know what to do when the girl hit the floor. She tripped over and placed her hands over the girls shoulders. “Miss, miss, don’t faint, I’m sorry for startling you” Russia looked around and grabbed a cup filling it with water before splashing it on the girls face in an attempt to wake her up.
The brunette rubbed her eyes upon feeling a flash of cold water. She sat up and looked at the female in front of her. Still rubbing her eyes, she still felt a tad out of place, but she knew something felt..different. She didn’t know how to begin speaking, or what to say first. “U-um..Are you..that..u-um..”
Russia gave a nod, “I…I’m the dog”
Russia tilted her head, that was true, she never spent much time with her uncle until her brother died. “Humans are so much harder to understand then other creatures” she pulled her paws onto her face and ruffled her head of hair. “But you are right, something about my uncle is just so mysterious. Even more so then some shadows I’ve meet.” The wolf dog could totally be going about it wrong though. Here she had brought Maka some soup and turned it into some sort of serious conversation. It made the girl want to giggle a bit.
Maka nodded, “I’m human and even humans are hard to understand to me. It’s weird.” she looked over at Russia and ruffled her hair, “I think after a while you’ll start to learn more and understand more about your uncle. It takes time to know someone completely.”
Russia flicked her ears, “Still strange though.” She pouted with a bit of a stretch flicking her tail back and forth. Her fur was all warm and fuzzy now from staying in this position as a dog for so long.
Russia stood out in the cold rain of the town. She had yet again run into a level E vampire, and due to her temperament had killed the thing only after being injured. Her right arm was bleeding as she sat on the bench exposed to the cold air like it was nothing. She didn’t know why such a cruel…
Ayumei walked alone, with her hood pulled over her head. She didn’t hate the rain, infact she loved it, what she hated was the chill that came with it. She continued on her way until she picked up the scent of blood. She stopped and turned to where she thought it came from. Her senses weren’t as clear as they’d normally be, the smell of blood mixed with the smell of the rain. Instinctively she walked towards the smell, by the strength of the smell she could tell who ever was bleeding must be in pain. She focused more on aura searching. She tried to find pain. Her search lead to a crevice. Ayumei at the one who was bleeding. She hadn’t fed in a while and the feeling of thirst began to take over. She supressed it at the best of her ability, her jewel glowed dimly in her aid. She managed to supress her thirst and now focused on the matter at hand. She wasn’t sure exactly what to say, “I can see your hurt…Come and let me care for your wounds” Ayumei said calmly.
“Ohhhh darn.” Russia complained as she gave a sigh. She was used to the cold, as was her body used to being injured. It stung a bit, but there was nothing to it. As she flicked her tail her orange eyes moved over to the girl, she could smell it. Over her blood, it was another Vampire. Russia had enough run ins with them to know. But she wasn’t afraid, it wasn’t in her nature to be afraid. She wagged her tail happily. “I’m fine thank you, it’ll heal fine without treatment, just ran into a level E was all” Russia laughed in a kid like way.
‘Stay calm she still thinks your a dog’ Russia stayed silent as she flicked her tail back and forth. She had never felt this nervous to be in her human form in her entire life. Her orange eyes watched the book on the bed.
Lin finished preparing the spaghetti and meatballs as she brought it over to the table. She placed it down slowly and looked around the room to make sure the dog was going to come for dinner; Her eyes widened in confusion. Huh..? What..happened? When Lin was in shock, she tended to faint, in which she did. She fell onto the floor as if time was frozen; Just..what is she?
Russia didn’t exactly know what to do when the girl hit the floor. She tripped over and placed her hands over the girls shoulders. “Miss, miss, don’t faint, I’m sorry for startling you” Russia looked around and grabbed a cup filling it with water before splashing it on the girls face in an attempt to wake her up.
Soru thinked deeply. He looked absently at the cup he drank from. Empty, was the word he was looking. Full, was not. He drew out a ancient looking pistol from the 16th century. He placed it on the table.
Russia looked at the pistol for a moment and flicked her ears a gun? “Is that your main weapon?” She asked him curious about it.
Soru looked up and laughed. ‘No, no, this old flint-lock pistol is not my main weapon. Rather, it is an ancient artifact carefully made into a working pistol. It’s a gift from my father’s.’
Russia tilted her head tempted to poke the firearm, but then she remembered the last time she had done that and it hadn’t ended well. She lowered her ears and sat up again. “I never had any parents, and my brother didn’t leave anything behind for me. The best I can do is be reminded of him by my uncle and practice martial arts every day that my brother taught me.” Russia said.
Soru then nodded and bowed politely in a sign of respect. He then took the firearm and when he whispered something, the firearm swiftly turned into a blue thin crystal shard.
Russia starred at the weapon for a few moments before tilting her head, it looked so pretty she was tempted to touch it but then decided not to. She sprawled herself on the table and looked up at Soru. “Do you use it to fight?” she asked.
Soru then lowered the crystal shard towards the table and said ‘What? Oh, heavens, no, but i did once use it against a few soldiers. It just froze them. They weren’t dead, but they are just like pillars of ice.’
Russia wagged her tail back and forth. “I don’t like fighting, I wish everyone could just get along” she giggled. It was the truth though Russia wasn’t one for violence at all.
Soru nodded and said ‘Yes. Fighting and the way of the warrior is something our people don’t do anymore. However, in order to protect the people, the civilians and citizens of our race, we have a militia that does so.’
“Still I wish there was no fighting from anyone” She puffed out her cheeks cutely.
